Children’s Developmental Milestones is a Non-Public Agency (NPA) serving families in both Los Angeles and Ventura Counties. We are looking for caring, professional individuals who love working with children and families to join our team. 1.  Behavioral Interventionist and/or Developmental Interventionist
Job Description:
Interventionists provide services  in the client’s home.  In-home support usually involves helping a child develop emotionally and behaviorally using play based approaches or behavioral techniques. Clients range in age from 2 years up to 12 years.
Minimum requirements:
  • Bachelors degree in psychology, education, child development, communication, or related field (consideration will be given to applicants who are in the process of attaining their bachelors degree).
  • 1 year experience providing developmental therapy (play-based therapy) or behavioral therapy with children (college level courses in these fields may also be considered).
  • Valid California drivers license. Current vehicle insurance.
  • Department of Justice fingerprint clearance.
  • TB test clearance.
  • At least 18 years of age.

2.  Speech-Language Pathologist
We are seeking a clinic based Speech Pathologist to expand this program. Speech Therapist must be a graduate from an accredited program and hold current state license from the California Speech Language and Audiology Board. This is an ideal position for someone who wants  flexibility and to be in control of their own schedule.
